PARAMAGNETIC IONS AND LATTICE VIBRATIONS.

Abstract

A very brief summary is given of studies involving the non-radiative transitions form the excited states of ions in crystals and the role played by phonons in such transitions. Much of the work is reported in full detail in Appendix A, issued separately as AD-640 612; and in AD-623 977 and AD-627 348.
