EXPERIMENTS WITH AN 18 IN. BURNER AT DAINGERFIELD, TEXAS AUGUST 20- NOVEMBER 14, 1945

Abstract

Early developmental experiments with an 18 inch burner are reported. Variations in fuel type, fuel/air ratio, and burner configuration were examined; and initial experiments were undertaken with a 'flow straightener' inserted between the pilots and the injector.
