VOLUME FLOW METER FOR TRANSPARENT FLUIDS,

Abstract

The report is concerned with a flow meter of the turbine type. The response is linear over ranges of more than 40 to 1. Speed is determined by the frequency of an interupted light beam falling on a photronic cell. A study is made of photronic cell output voltages when used on the flow meter. An amplifier-filter circuit is described to give a fairly constant output with any photronic cell. (Author)
