STUDIES IN ORGANOPHOSPHOROUS AND ORGANOMERCURY CHEMISTRY.
Abstract
A very brief review is given of work which involved (1) the reactions of organolithium reagents with quarternary phosphonium halides; (2) syntheses based on phosphine alkylidene chemistry; and (3) generation of carbenes by the thermolysis of PhHgCX3. A list of the 31 papers published as a result of the work is included.
