MAGNETOGASDYNAMICS OF CHEMICALLY REACTING SYSTEMS.

Abstract

A summary is given of the progress and results of a research program involving studies of magnetogasdynamic effects in problems where chemical reaction plays an important role. Topics include: Propagation, structure, and stability of laminar flames; propagation and structure of detonation waves; flows behind detonations; ionization in shocks and detonations. A list of publications resulting from the work is included.
