CONCENTRATION FLUCTUATIONS IN THE VICINITY OF THE CRITICAL POINT.

Abstract

A brief summary is given of work involving (1) the measurement of the relaxation times of concentration fluctions by the electric field effect on critical opalescence (reported in detail in AD-642 606 and AD-649 353); (2) visual observations of concentration fluctuations in a critical mixture; and (3) elastic scattering of light near the critical temperature.
