MIGRATORY ANIMAL PATHOLOGICAL SURVEY.

Abstract

The report is divided into 5 parts: Part 1 deals with the banding work of 12 teams in 9 countries of Eastern Asia giving the numbers of birds banded and a summary of the work accomplished. Part 2 presents a list of the birds banded in 1966, 571 species and more than 200,000 individuals. Part 3 discusses 500 band recoveries from over 40 species of birds. Part 4 discusses the host and ectoparasite relationships of 275 species of parasites on 418 species of birds. Part 5 presents the geographical rates of infection with haematozoa in Eastern Asia for 518 species of birds. (Author)
