APPLICATION OF FOURIER SERIES EXPANSION FOR THE ADJUSTMENT OF AN ELEVATION PHOTOGRAMMETRIC NETWORK WITH THE USE OF DIFFERENT ELEMENTS FOR THE EXTERNAL ORIENTATION OF AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHS.

Abstract

A new method is suggested for the adjustment of the altimetric photogrammetric network, based upon the application of the Fourier series for the leveling of the differences between the independently determined orientation elements of similar aerial photographs. This method is also based on the use of equations for the surface of first and second order distortion for the interpolation of the discrepancies of elevations, obtained at the reference points.
