RELATIONS BETWEEN POINT DEFECTS IN THE COMPOUND MX,

Abstract

The results of a computer study of the mass action equations as used for the formation of point defects in binary compounds are presented. The results are in easily read tabular form from which a neutrality condition can be deduced for a particular predominant defect. The pressure dependence and the equilibrium constants involved in the formation of each defect are listed. (Author)
