TABLES OF THE FIRST 200 FACTORIALS TO 20 PLACES.

Abstract

For certain types of calculations, it is frequently necessary to know the values of factorials to more places than are given in the tables commonly used. The following table is designed to satisfy this need. The values of the first 200 factorials were obtained as follows: First the exact values of every fifth factorial (5k) factorial, k = 1(1)30, and those of every 4th factorial from n = 154 on, were determined by direct multiplication, and checked by independent and duplicate calculation at every step. Then the intermediate values were computed and finally, all factorials were rounded off to 20 places. As shown in the table, the column headed 'p' indicates the power of 10 by which the entry under 'n factorial' must be multiplied. (Author)
