COMPUTER-AIDED DESIGN OF BROADBAND UHF TRANSISTOR AMPLIFIERS.

Abstract

Final report on second year of a study program dealing with computer-aided design of broad band UHF transistor amplifiers. The equivalent y-matrices for multistage amplifiers are computed with high frequency compensation and low frequency equalization applied to each stage. Matching networks for a 50 ohm band and gain reduction resulting from mismatch at the input are investigated. A procedure for designing such amplifiers using digital computer techniques is outlined.
