COPPER-MANGANESE SELF-FLUXING SOLDER,

Abstract

The copper-manganese self-flexing solder consisting of nickel, manganese, iron, lithium, and copper, is distinguished in that, for the purpose of obtaining quality solders for responsible aircraft construction, for example, of honeycomb fillers, and for the avoidance of inter-crystallite penetration in stainless steel, the following composition of solder in percentages is established: 4.0 - 4.8, manganese 20.0 - 24.0, iron to 1.0, lithium 0.15 - 0.20 and the remainder copper.
