CIRCULAR-ARRAY RADAR ANTENNA.

Abstract

Preliminary study shows the feasibility of synthesizing Tchebyscheff-type radiation patterns with predictable side-lobe levels for a circular-array antenna with all elements fed. Results are contrasted with results of studies of circular-arc arrays of the cophasal type. Parameters and resulting pattern characteristics (system errors neglected) are given for both types of array. (Author)
