THE ALOOR ILLINOIS 7090/94 POST MORTEM DUMP.

Abstract

A post mortem dump technique for programs written in Algol-60 is described which has been successfully implemented in connection with the ALCOR ILLINOIS 7090 Algol-60 Translator. This technique provides an intelligible analysis of an unsuccessful computation process in terms of the original source program. The basic analysis principles described in this paper are widely applicable to any configuration of programming languages and computing machines. (Author)
