A FLEXIBLE HIGH-STRENGTH TELEPHONE CABLE FOR MILITARY PURPOSES,

Abstract

A twenty-channel telephone cable has been developed to replace a similar cable. Development, design and properties are described; major improvements have been obtained in flexibility, resistance to bending failure and resistance to heavy military use. Cable-weight was substantially reduced and high breaking-strength was achieved without steel-reinforcement of the sheath. (Author)
