THE INFLUENCE OF ELECTRICAL RESISTIVITY ON THE MHD STABILITY OF STATIONARY EQUILIBRIA,

The basis of the stability analysis is a stationary equilibrium characterized by a quasi-aligned field configuration. The first order influence of small electrical resistivity on the stability behaviour of a system stable or marginally stable in zeroth order is given. (Author)
