TOPICS IN NOISE,

Abstract

The paper discusses basic noise problems which effects the performance of electronic devices. The noisiness of black boxes is described first in terms of the noise figure concept and then from the noise temperature approach. Equations are given for calculating the noise output of typical electronic devices as individual stages and as stages in tandem. (Author)
