PREDICTION OF SUCCESS IN INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAMMER SCHOOL,

Abstract

Twenty-six predictors of student success in learning the techniques of programmed instruction were investigated against four criteria of school success. One of the most predictable of the four criteria was the typical standard of training, the final average grade. Three predictors predicted this criterion in a cross-validation sample at a rather high level (R = .56). Validities of these predictors are presented. (Author)
