ANTICAVITATION DEVICE,

Abstract

An anticavitation device is described for creating a backup pressure on the line of the input into the pump of a closed hydraulic system with constant pressure on the output of the pump. For the purpose of simplifying and improving the dependability of the system, it is designed in the form of a bellowslike shell located in the line of the input and a plunger supported on its bottom, which is placed inside a guiding sleeve and the free end of which is under the pressure on the output of the pump. In the bottom of the bellowslike shell there are holes for carrying away into the line of the input the leaks of liquid from the line of output through the gaps between the plunger and the guiding sleeve.
