MAKING BIMETAL STRIPS WITH ALUMINUM-TIN ALLOYS,

Abstract

The object of this article is the study of development of a technique for obtaining bimetallic bands (alloy A9-1 (A20-1) - Armco iron) and its industrial testing. Steel plating, metal rolling, and aluminum-tin alloys are discussed. There are two basic schemes for obtaining bimetallic aluminum-tin alloy-steel (Armco iron) bands. These are discussed and disadvantages and advantages of each are listed.
