RELATIONS BETWEEN DERIVATIVES.

Abstract

If x = a + ((xi-alpha) to the power tau) chi(xi), where r tau is a positive integer and where chi(xi) is not equal to zero and analytic at xi = alpha, then the derivatives with respect to x at the point x = a can be expressed by means of the derivatives with respect to xi at the point xi = alpha. This problem and the corresponding problems for an arbitrary number of variables is treated, leading to generalizations of the formula of Lagrange-Burmann. (Author)
