AN EXTENDED ENERGY INTEGRAL TECHNIQUE FOR LINEAR DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS.

Abstract

An extended energy integral technique for boundary value problems is presented for a class of differential equations which are prevalent in mathematical physics. The extended technique provides a method for answering questions in wave propagation and stability which could not be treated by the familiar method of energy integrals. (Author)
