CONCERNING THE DISTRIBUTION OF METEOROLOGICAL ELEMENTS ON SUNTAR-KHAYATA RANGE (EASTERN YAKUT USSR),

Abstract

The Suntar-Khayata Range, the southeastern extremity of the main chain of the Verkhoyansk Range, is one of the highest mountain massifs of northeastern USSR. The observational results of this station provide, for the first time, information about the principal meteorological elements in lofty mountain areas of northeastern USSR. In order to compare the data of the lofty mountain station, with that of lower stations, there are presented, the observational results of two meteorological stations in the foothills of the Suntar-Khayat range.
