THE CHIEF CHARACTERISTICS OF THE RADIATION REGIME OF THE EUROPEAN TERRITORY OF THE USSR,

Abstract

In the article the principal characteristics of the radiation regime in the European Territory of the USSR are investigated according to the data of actinometric stations taken during the IGY. Average monthly intensity values and monthly totals of the constituents of the radiation balance and their variations with time (daily and annual) throughout the territory, are presented. The stations selected have, on the whole, a 5-7-year (1952-1958) period of observation and most of them have radiation balance measurement data. The average values of the intensity of global radiation, radiation balance, albedo, monthly and annual totals of global radiation and radiation balance were taken. (Author)
