INFLUENCE OF LOCAL CONDITIONS ON THE FORMATION OF FOGS,

Abstract

The article discusses the influence of large-scale local peculiarities, namely the Black Sea, Donets Ridge, and the Crimean Mountains, on the formation of fogs. Data used for the investigation were the AMSG weather maps and the maps from the Kiev Weather Bureau for 1952-1958, weather diaries from AMSG Ukraine and the data from climatological handbooks.
