INSTALLATION FOR MEASURING TEMPERATURE LAPSE RATES AND AIR HUMIDITY GRADIENTS,

Abstract

With a view to improving the accuracy and convenience of work at the Central Geophysical Observatory (Leningrad) two different installations were designed to make it possible to conduct temperature and humidity measurements and all associated operations by remote control. One of the installations was designed for measurements above water surfaces and the other, over land on a television tower. (Author)
