ANNUAL REPORT (2ND).

Abstract

The main body of this Second Annual Report of the Center for High Energy Forming consists of papers presented by personnel of the Center at the First International Conference of the Center for High Energy Forming held June 19-23, 1967 at Estes Park, Colorado. Topics include shock hardening of metals, mechanics of blank deformation at large plastic strains, ductility at high-strain rate, measurement of strain rates by the expanding ring technique and the effect of standoff distance on explosively formed domes.
