EFFECTIVENESS OF SALVO OF N AREA KILL WEAPONS AGAINST A CIRCULAR TARGET.

Abstract

Small weapon effectiveness radius (R sub E) versus small target radius (R sub T), both per linear standard deviation, (R sub E/sigma versus R sub T/sigma) have been plotted to a larger scale to extend a Ballistics Research Laboratories study so that more accurate work in this region is possible. Also, tables have been included to extend the number of shots from eight to 24 in some important areas of R sub E/sigma and R sub T/sigma.
