THEORETICAL DISPERSION ANALYSIS OF THE AEROBEE 350,

Abstract

The report presents a theoretical dispersion analysis of Aerobee 350. Changes in impact due to errors in drag, lift, center of pressure, restoring force moment, thrust, center of gravity, moment of inertia, mass, and wind speed for payloads of 150 and 500 pounds were tabulated. Unit wind effects for 1, 5, 10, and 20 mph winds are tabulated with ballistic factor. Peak altitude, range, Coriolis effect, and time of flight are plotted as functions of payload and quadrant elevation. Nominal conditions are also presented for payloads of 150, 325, and 500 pounds.
