UNDERWATER SPEECH COMMUNICATION.

Abstract

A list is given of research projects, both completed and in progress, in the field of underwater speech communication. An evaluation and recommendations are given concerning intelligibility testing and test materials, underwater thresholds, and ear-canal vs bone-conduction hearing.
