SELF-ADJUSTING FEEDBACK LOOP FOR MECHANICAL SYSTEMS TO INFLUENCE FLOW IN TRANSITION, PART I,

Abstract

The stability of a laminar boundary layer on a flat plate can be influenced by an active flexible wall. The problem to adapt the wavelength of the travelling surface wave automatically to the boundary layer wave was solved by the use of an electronic feedback network. (Author)
