Abstract

Volume I of this three-volume report contains tabulated physical, chemical, and biological data collected during cruises 341 and 345 of the Research Vessel Brown Bear and Cruise 5 of the Canadian Naval Auxiliary Vessel Oshawa during the months of February and June 1964 in an area within 175 nautical miles of the coasts of Washington and Oregon. These data were collected as part of a year-round study which has as its objectives the determination of the properties, distribution, and movement of the Columbia River effluent water in the Northeast Pacific.
