DYNAMICS AND VIBRATIONS OF HOMOGENEOUS AND LAYERED PLATES AND SHELLS, INCLUDING THOSE OF SANDWHICH CONSTRUCTION.

Abstract

The dynamics and vibrations of homogeneous and layered plates and shells, including those of sandwich construction were investigated. Reports on the following subjects were written: (a) linear equations of anisotropic elastic plates, (b) linear equations of isotropic elastic plates and shells, (c) damping parameters of layered plates and shells, (d) dynamic buckling of plates, (e) vibrations of two-layered plates, (f) axisymmetrical vibrations of conical shells, (g) axisymmetric vibrations of spherical shells, (h) torsional vibrations of spherical caps and circular plates, (i) nonlinear vibrations of plates and shells.
