IONIC DIFFUSION IN SOLID METAL OXIDES.

Abstract

A summary is given of experimental investigations which were completed on the properties of oxide films on metals and alloys, and on oxygen diffusion in metal oxides as single crystals, spheres and films, and theoretical analyses which were completed for the diffusion processes of nickel in nickel oxide films and oxygen in niobium pentoxide and zirconia.
