AN INVESTIGATION OF THE ORDERING OF MOLECULES IN THE ANISOTROPIC LIQUID PHASE OF LIQUID CRYSTALS

Abstract

A brief summary is given of work undertaken to obtain a basic understanding of the effect due to external electric fields on the molecular alignment in the anisotropic liquid phase of liquid crystals. A list of papers resulting from the work is included.
