Abstract
The report gives a description of emergency operations research at SDC- primarily the experimental efforts. It delineates the nature of the tasks, the experimental methods used, and some major results and conclusions. The material in this document was originally presented by the author as an invited paper at the thirtieth national meeting of the Operations Research Society of America, held at Durham, North Carolina, 19 October 1966.
