DESIGN AND EVALUATION OF TACTICAL CABLES,
Abstract
The investigation showed the feasibility of greatly improving the electrical and mechanical characteristics of tactical cables by thorough evaluation of cable materials, elements, and design procedures. The optimized intend thus developed was substantiated through a rigorous mechanical test program. From this base standardized materials, design concepts, construction parameters, and test procedures can be developed thus enabling the production of consistently reliable tactical cables.
