HANDBOOK OF SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICES,

Abstract

The handbook contains data on the basic types of thermistors, photoresistors, selenium and copper-oxide rectifiers, germanium and silicon diodes, planar germanium and silicon transistors, with an indication of the field of their application. This handbook is intended for engineers, technicians and radio hams working in the field of semiconductor device application and it may also be useful for students studying such devices. Its purpose is to assist specialists working in the field of semiconductor device application. Its presentation assumes that the reader is familiar with the fundamentals and characteristics of semiconductor circuits. The initial portion of each chapter presents reference data on the general characteristics of the given class of semiconductor devices, the salient features of their use, and the definitions of the basic parameters used. Reference data on the particular types of devices are then presented. (Author)
