Abstract

The report covers the methods used at the U. S. Naval Ordnance Laboratory, White Oak, Maryland during hardware design, development, and evaluation of Ordnance products to achieve a complete and proven procurement package (design disclosure). It includes ten principles and objectives that guide this work. The report was presented as a paper entitled 'Principles and Objectives of the Design Disclosure Process' at the American Ordnance Association Annual Meeting of the Technical Documentation Section on 11 May 1967.
