ASSOCIATIVE TECHNIQUES FOR CONTROL FUNCTIONS IN A MULTI-PROCESSOR SIMULATION INVESTIGATION.

Abstract

A simulator of a 'multiprocessor with associative control' was developed for purposes of evaluating and studying the use of associative memories for executive control functions in multiprocessors. A job generator was also developed to provide a source of jobs to use in the simulation studies. Some preliminary results were obtained in terms of system efficiency and requirements on the associative memories. (Author)
