THE PRINCIPLE OF DIVIDING ABSOLUTE (GRAVIMETRIC) DEVIATIONS OF PLUMB LINE INTO LOCAL AND GENERAL (PLANETARY) TILTS,
Abstract
An acceptable determination of the factoring coefficient of anomalies of gravity force to the eighth order, inclusively, makes it possible to divide the anomalies of gravity force, heights of quasigeoid and deviations of plumb line into two parts: local and planetary. Such a division is of special significance for advanced geodesy because it enables one to calculate the absolute deviations of plumb line at any point on the Earth's surface with a sufficiently accurate specification of the effect of far zones and, undoubtedly, is of interest for the physics of the Earth because it enables one to single out of the observed anomalies of gravity force the planetary anomalies that are caused by the considerable irregularities in the structure of the Earth's crust.
