INVESTIGATION OF SHIELDING EFFICIENCY.

Abstract

Transmission line principles have been applied to the design of test units for the problem of effectively measuring electromagnetic shielding efficiency. Two types of test units were developed on this basis, together with suitable overall test systems and methods of test. Results obtained with each unit at various signal frequencies and for different types of test 'shields' are in substantial agreement with the theory developed in this investigation. (Author)
