DIGITAL TECHNIQUE FOR RECORDING TIME DEPENDENT SPECTRA BY TIME TO PULSE-HEIGHT CONVERSION.

Abstract

The present note describes the construction of the electronics to be used for recording time-dependent spectra of electroluminescent crystals. The fundamentals of the digital method employed to measure the distribution of delay between the excitation and the emission are briefly outlined pointing out its interest for our problems. The electronic circuitry is then described and some preliminary experiments are reported, that demonstrate the performance of the whole setup. (Author)
