A TECHNOLOGY FOR TRAINING DESIGN.

Abstract

The training technology used in the development and revision of training programs emphasizes (1) the determination of the job requirements for which training is to be provided; (2) the translation of these job requirements into specific measurable training objectives; (3) a determination of the beginning level of instruction based on pre-existing student knowledge; (4) the development of content and methods relevant to the job requirements; and (5) the development of a quality control program that insures that the training provided fulfills the requirements established by the preceding four principles.
