APPROXIMATE SOLUTION OF INITIAL-BOUNDARY WAVE EQUATION PROBLEMS BY BOUNDARY VALUE TECHNIQUES.

Abstract

The paper contains numerical studies of initial-boundary value problems for linear and mildly nonlinear wave equations. Boundary value techniques are applied to problems for which asymptotic estimates or periodicity theorems are available. Stability problems are thereby averted completely. (Author)
