ANALOG COMPUTER FOR PERFORMING CONFORMAL TRANSFORMATIONS,

Abstract

A computer is suggested which would reproduce the boundaries of singly- or doubly-connected regions on the screen of a CRT. The distinguishing characteristic of the circuit is the means of forming the voltages (for the deflecting plates of the tube) corresponding to the coordinates of the function and formed by summation of sinusoidal voltages. For synchronication of the voltage frequencies, the summed sinusoids are formed with the aid of filters and amplifiers whose inputs receive the output voltage from a common generator of periodic complex-form voltages.
