Abstract
The interim publication is issued as a supplement to the NODC publication M-2, Processing Physical and Chemical Data from Oceanographic Stations, Part I, Coding and Keypunching. The instructions pertain only to those data fields appearing in Appendix I, 'Form for Reporting Electronically Obtained Serial Data', which do not appear on the 'Physical and Chemical Form for Oceanographic Stations'. Publication M-2 should be referred to for coding and cardpunching data fields common to both formats. (Author)
