TABLES OF HEMISPHERE SCATTERING AMPLITUDE FOR NOSE-ON INCIDENCE

Abstract

Tables of the electromagnetic scattering amplitude and cross section of a conducting hemisphere for nose-on incidence are presented as a function of frequency, bistatic angle and polarization. The tables give the real and imaginary parts of the scattering amplitude and the radar cross section normalized to pi R sq (R = hemisphere radius). Results are shown for kR (k = 2 pi/wavelength) from 0.2 to 20.0 in steps of 0.2, for bistatic angles from 0 degrees to 150 degrees in steps of 30 degrees and for both HH and VV polarizations.
