RECENT REVISIONS TO THE DIGITAL SIMULATION MODEL FOR SIMULATING TWO-OPERATOR MAN-MACHINE INTERACTION.

Abstract

The logic and application of a previously developed digital computer model for simulating the actions of one or two operators as they interact within a hardware system in order to achieve the goals of a mission are described. Then, the logic is expanded to include an operator 'level of aspiration' variable. A number of other recent modifications to the model are also pointed out. The results of computer runs employing the 'level of aspiration' variable are compared with runs in which the variable is not involved. (Author)
