LOW-POWER BACKWARD-WAVE TUBES,

Abstract

The book covers the theoretical and design fundamentals of low-power backward-wave transmitting tubes and is recommended as a textbook for advanced radio engineering students. The electronics of backward-wave generators are discussed and various types of delay systems are analyzed, including the opposite-pole type and the ladder type. The main methods of analyzing delay systems are presented: the electrodynamic method, the equivalent circuit method, and the multiwire line method. (Author)
